The super has this one right. You really don't see the effects of 1 1/2 hour classes on children unless you teach. Block scheduling is good in some instances..but it has ruined the highschool experience. All it has caused is for pro arts and other programs that kids used to look forward to whether they liked the show or not to be done away with. Plus, teachers cram a whole year into a semester and kids have hardly anytime to spare during the school year on anything else. Moving away from block would alleviate many of the problems the school system faces.
